Music stays under your control

Chordglass saves MIDI recordings, sessions, settings, and instrument presets locally. The app does not require a Chordglass account or automatically upload your music to us. It has no advertising, tracking, or analytics service of its own. The app does not request microphone or speech recognition access.

You choose whether to export or share files and where to put them. Your operating system may include app data in device backups, depending on your settings. Cloud storage, sharing destinations, and backups are governed by the providers you choose.

Instruments and MIDI connections

Chordglass sends MIDI to the instruments and destinations you select. Instruments installed separately are provided by other developers and may have their own privacy practices. Their software and services are not covered by this policy.

Diagnostics and support

Apple may make crash reports and usage information available to us through Apple developer services, according to Apple’s terms and your settings. If you use a TestFlight build, Apple may also share feedback you submit, including screenshots and device information. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.

When you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request and investigate problems. Share a recording or session only if you want us to examine it. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and maintain support records; you can request its deletion by contacting us.

This website

This website does not ask for MIDI or microphone access, run the music app, or store performances. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The website hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.

Keeping and removing your data

Local recordings remain in your app storage until removed. You control files you export through Files, Finder, or the destination you choose. Removing app data does not remove exported files or copies in backups; manage those with the relevant provider. We cannot recover music that you have not shared with us.
